Sojo Cabinets is a testament to Scott's lifelong dedication to exceptional cabinetry. The name "Sojo" is a combination of Scott's own name, representing his unwavering commitment to quality craftsmanship and personalized design.

Scott's journey in the cabinet making trade began at the age of 17, undertaking an apprenticeship under the guidance of his uncle. With a passion for the craft, he honed his skills in manufacturing, design, and project management in Perth and Melbourne. Seeking to broaden his horizons, Scott embarked on a transformative path that took him overseas to Canada and Vietnam.

International Experience & Design Foundations

Scott’s journey in cabinetry and design spans internationally. In Canada, he immersed himself in the world of luxury design, working on the design and fit-out of multimillion-dollar holiday homes in the picturesque town of Whistler. This experience exposed him to high-end materials, refined detailing, and the expectations of luxury residential projects.

He later moved to Vietnam, where he served as Head of Production for an esteemed international hotel furniture sourcing company. In this role, Scott oversaw large-scale furniture and cabinetry projects for luxury hotels around the world, managing production quality, timelines, and complex international requirements.

Education & Design Expertise

Alongside his professional experience, Scott completed a two-year Interior Design Diploma, further expanding his expertise across design theory, spatial planning, technical drafting, 3D rendering, and visual visualisation. This formal training strengthened his ability to translate ideas into practical, buildable designs while maintaining aesthetic balance and functionality.

This combination of hands-on production knowledge and design education allows Scott to approach each project with a holistic understanding — from concept development through to final installation.

Experience & Design Expertise

Scott’s journey spans international luxury design and formal interior design training. He worked on multimillion-dollar holiday homes in Whistler, Canada, before leading production for an international hotel furniture sourcing company in Vietnam, delivering large-scale projects for luxury hotels worldwide. Alongside this hands-on experience, Scott completed a two-year Interior Design Diploma, building expertise in spatial planning, technical drafting, and 3D visualisation—allowing him to deliver thoughtfully designed, practical, and refined cabinetry solutions from concept to completion.
